Limbert and Laura Vasquez are a couple that have a passion for evangelism and developing local leadership everywhere they go. Right now they are working on planting a church in Los Mameyes, a poor neighborhood in Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. They have been there for almost two years and after a period of time of getting used to their new home they started 3 small groups and are planning to launch the church next summer. El Centro church is a church that is very focused in reaching unchurched people. It is a very relaxed environment where tough topics are discussed every, forcing people to use their intellect to see Godīs good news of salvation every weekend and great fellowship happens all week long. The mission of El Centro is to reconcile people with God and with one another. We understand this to be the biggest need our world has. Limbert and Laura have four beautiful daughters: Ashley, Emily, Grayce and Lina. All of them are now fully bilingual and are enjoying going to school in Spanish. Reading is their main passion and they are very creative. Limbertīs greatest passion is to share the Gospel with people that are far from God, especially with atheists; trains people to serve in the church and help the poor. Lauraīs greatest passion is to help the church to reach its highest potential through observing it and correcting things that can be done better. She is a perfectionist and loves doing things right for God.
